Want to secure your admission into Unilag, Unilorin or Yabatech?
It is no news that UTME is over. The next thing is the POST UTME which will determine your admission into the university. This post is to inform first-timers and those who have been getting it wrong about the POST UTME on how they can pass with ease so as to gain admission.
Want to know how you can ace your POST UTME exams? Do you want to enrol in Unilag, Unilorin, or Yabatech? The answer is simple. Sign up for the POST UTME class which is already in motion and organized by Catalyst Tutorials.
WHAT IS POST UTME?
POST UTME stands for Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. It is an exam conducted after the UTME before admission. It is organized and run by various universities as a final screening tool in the admission and candidate selection process. Each university is unique, hence the minutia of the process involving registration, examination, and release of results differs from university to university.
N.B: The JAMB cut-off score for most universities is 200. For you to secure admission, your JAMB and Post UTME scores will be combined to form an aggregate.
HOW TO GET A HIGH POST-UTME SCORE
It has been noted over the years that students who perform exceptionally well in their UTME exams have trouble completing their POST UTME tests. How? This is because the subjects being tested may cause them to underestimate the exam. Therefore, we recommend that you;
- Make proper preparations.
- Obtain quality tutoring at Catalyst Tutorials.
- Purchase the Catalyst Tutorials’ Past Questions
- Pay attention to university news.
- Study (very important).
POST UTME STRUCTURE
The structure of most universities is the same. The majority of students inquire about MATHEMATICS, ENGLISH and GENERAL PAPER. UNILAG for example, asks all applicants on three disciplines, independent of course choice. The breakdown is as follows:
- 20 Questions on English
- 10 Questions on General Paper/Current Affairs
- 10 Questions on Mathematics
When you sign up, you get access to our team of highly trained tutors and a curriculum that has been designed to guide you through. The tutorial started on Monday, May 23rd 2022; from 10 am to 2 pm until your exam date. The tutorial covers MATHEMATICS, ENGLISH, and GENERAL PAPER. We also offer hostel facilities located in our tutorial venue.
